Cold outside with some winter weather moving in later today, so best stay inside today. A trip to the coffee shop on a cold day would be better than the insanity of shopping today. But there is football to watch so no coffee shop today. 🙂

Yesterday served as a wonderful reminder of what Thanksgiving is for me, thanking God, good friends, and good food. The centerpiece in the picture was made by Ruslana, Pastor Alekseyi’s wife.

Still hard to believe Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent and Christmas is coming quickly.

How was your Thanksgiving Day? Are you out shopping today or being safe and staying home? 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

I’m glad to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We’re expecting a very cold day here, with lots of snow on Saturday and Sunday. Today’s plan is to grab a few groceries to get us through the next few days while we hibernate from the snow. Then hopefully we’ll pull the tree out of the shed and maybe start putting it up this weekend.

Stay Safe, Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.

    1. Hibernating is good on cold snow days

        You know it … 🍜☕

  2. a very nice centerpiece Matt. Some lazy snow flakes coming down here. 15 degrees and a beautiful day for a walk in the woods in the snow. The ice is not thick enough for ice fishing. Healing from a back injury with some coffee, some reading, Journaling and maybe writing another song. Definitly some piano time. A reflective season for me at end of year coming up.

    1. How is your back?
The ice will thicken up for you.

      1. back is gradually healing. Not ready for what it takes to go ice fishing. Someone would find me flat on the ice a few hours later if my back went out. -20 for the next couple days so playing it safe

  3. We have gotten some cold weather but thankful for the sunshine we’ve had. The centerpiece is beautiful. And no, I don’t venture out on black Friday unless I absolutely have to. I’m thankful to sit in my warm house.

    1. You are wise to stay home 🙂

  4. On Thanksgiving I had some GREAT food and some difficult family interactions.

On Friday we took Mom out to lunch for her birthday.

I was supposed to stay in Cincinnati for another day but I decided to leave early to get ahead of the snow. The winter storms have rolled in, I’m glad to be home safe and sound.

    1. God’s grace sister as you deal with difficult family interactions
