Winding down the quarter for teaching this week after a full ten weeks, it is time to look into life around me again. And oh yes, it is Christmas time. 🙂

Confession time- I am not a big fan of the overly romanticized holiday. Being single with no family, all of the things that go with the holday could cause me to be like Scrooge. But the opportunities to share Jesus at Christmas time over the years keeps that tendency at bay.

My friends at New Breath will have a Christmas Day celebration at the church including worship, food, and fellowship. So my Christmas Day plans are set. I am looking forward to joining them. Keeping focus on Jesus during the Christmas holiday is what it is all about for me.

Christmas is only two weeks from now. Are you ready? Have you made plans?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Happy day, brother. I’m happy to see you today! I understand how you feel. I’m happy your church family will be united on Christmas Day. I’m ready and waiting. I’m enjoying having special get togethers with friends I haven’t seen in a while. I’m keeping my focus on Christ as I strive to do daily. We can celebrate the hope, peace, love, and joy that Christ alone provides! Sending prayers always! Have a good day big brother 🙏💚

  3. No doubt your Christmas will be filled with joy as you celebrate with your church family, Matt. We are NOT ready yet, but should be in plenty of time–as long as we don’t get sick!

    1. I think you probably have more to do to get ready than I do. For me being ready is more a mental thing 🙂

  4. I am ready. All gifts are bought and sent. I like focusing on Jesus Birthday.
