It is a cold snowy day here. Cold as in really cold, well at least for me. Probably not for those who live in the northern most regions. 🙂

It is the kind of day that perhaps only five years ago I would have been out and about thinking it was fun to venture out. Now I am content to sit inside with my coffee and blog from home not the coffee shop. I am not sure if that means I am older and wiser or wimping out as I get older. 🙂

It is the first full day of winter break from classes for me and wow Christmas is less than a few weeks away. I am looking forward to spending Christmas Day with my friends at New Breath Church.

It is a good day to try to catch up with my fellow bloggers and maybe record a video later. Not sure if it is agood day to venture out to the mailbox and check mail but that brings me back wondering if I am older and wiser or wimping out as I get older. 🙂

One thing that is certain is that Jesus is with me whether at home or out and about. Worshp music is playing as I blog.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

Winter break and Christmas coming fast. 🎄

Not wimping out… just exercising pastoral discretion in extreme weather. Even the mailbox can wait when wisdom says stay warm. 😄

    1. yes mailbox can wait 🙂

  2. We will be in the single digits for the next few days. It was not fun venturing out this morning.

  3. Our Savior’s grace and peace! Matt, I can identify with the peace experienced when observing winter’s cold and snow from a warm vantage point. This past Sunday afternoon, my wife and I braved the Arctic temperatures to attend a community choir performance hosted in a church not too far from our home. The Lord nourished everyone’s spirit with some incredible hymns of this Advent season.

    1. Blessings even in the arctic weather 🙂
