Yesterday after worship at New Breath, I received a special invitation to a tea party. Three seven year old girls asked me to join them in their tea party, so I sat down with them and we had a nice conversation as we drank our imaginary tea.

We covered important topics like what kind of juices we like, what they like at school and why they like their Sunday School teacher.
I felt honored the girls would ask me to join them for their tea party. I joined them because I want them to feel I am approachable. That is on my heart for all of the children at New Breath. Each Sunday as I interact with the children, I ask how their week was, how school is, and then remind them Jesus loves them.
The children know that I preach at New Breath about once a month and that I teach about Jesus. So my thinking is that if they feel I am approachable, then they can help them feel the same about Jesus. Children are precious to Jesus and he wants them to come to him.
I am certain Jesus would sit with them to have an imaginary tea party. 🙂
Thank you for reading God Bless.
