A fellow blogger had me pegged when he left a comment on a humorous post I had titled- If I Had My Own Coffee Shop. Fellow blogger Gary of garyfultz.com shared his observation of me in a comment. He said I would need a business manager because I would give every thing away.

I am realizing how true those words were in regards to my book Jesus Understands Trauma. I try to keep a copy of it with me to show people but end up ordering another copy because I give the one I have with me away.
On Wednesday evening, I met a man at the coffee shop and struck up a conversation. I found out he is a Christian who goes to the same church the counseling pastor I had lunch with on Tuesday is on staff with. As we talked, I found out my new friend has been getting counseling for Complex PTSD due to childhood trauma. So I gave him a copy of my book and wrote a blessing in it for him.
Yesterday I met a visiting pastor from Kiev Ukraine. He is only visiting for a few weeks and will return to Kiev. So I gave him a copy and wrote a blessing in it for him.
I don’t regret doing this at all. My prayer has been along the lines of Isaiah 61:1
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
It would be nice to sell books, but knowing the brokenhearted are being ministered to is on my heart.
I know what it feels like to be one of the brokenhearted but also to receive the comfort God blesses us with. So my heart is also to fulfill 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
So I will continue to keep a copy with me in case Jesus arranges divine appointments for me.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
