Labor Day is here and it means more to me than a day to relax. The day after Labor Day is when my morning Family Literacy class begins.

I am looking forward to seeing my returning students and to meeting new students. It is an awesome experience to empower moms by teaching them English, so they can help their children.

It does mean the first morning for me to wake up at 6:30 since May. But it also worth it. It means back to making my coffee the night before , so when I wake up blurry eyed, I can find my way to the kitchen to pour myself a cup to wake up.

I also look forward to greeting children in the hallways, chatting with my colleagues, and getting started. Adventures in learning await 🙂

Thank you for reading. God bless.
