When I was younger, Friday evening was prime time for weekend fun to kick off the weekend. That was before 25 years of living with chronic illness. Now Friday evenings are for resting to have energy for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday are important days in my ministry with refugees and immigrants.

This morning I will meet with some Vietnamese immigrants to help them practice conversational English before they go to work. After that I will meet my friend from Bosnia. He would like to start a Master’s Degree program. Then it will be lunch with him and his wife.

Sunday morning will be my bible study group for internationals, worship service, lunch with friends, and in the evening teaching citizenship class at El Centro de las Americas.
Christmas for me lately has been mostly about going to church on Christmas Eve and waiting for it all to pass and life to get back to normal. So I decided to make a change.
Last night, I watched Christmas Worship music on YouTube. I did so for a few reasons.
First of all to focus intentionally on Jesus and his birth. I loved one video that showed a baby and a roaring lion. Yes, Jesus was born as a baby. But he is the King of Kings. He is the Lion of Judah who has a ll power.

I also did so because I want to be refreshed spiritually before a weekend of teaching and ministry.
So this morning I am rested and ready to go. I would like to share one video I watched by Hillsong. It is Drummer Boy and Oh Come All Ye Faithful. I loved the drums for Drummer Boy.
Join me this Christmas is truly focusing on the real meaning of Christmas which that the Creator of all things, the King of Kings, humbled himself to become a human baby for the purpose of dying for our sins a short 33 years or so after his birth.
Thank you for reading. God Bless..
