‘“The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
 the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”’

I love this song based on Numbers 6 of the blessing God told Moses to teach others. Starting the day remembering the blessings of God helps me as I live with chronic illness. It helps me to keep focused on what God is calling me to do that day and not on my circumstances.

Jesus is always with those who believe in him. There is never a moment he is not with us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus blesses us with so many wonderful things such as eternal life, relationship with God, new lives in him and much more.

Blessing others is so important. I am a firm believer in blessing children at the school where I teach in the morning. They came here as refugees and immigrants with their parents. Life is not easy for them and their families. Each morning I wish them a good day in school.

My students need encouragement and to know I I believe they can learn English. Speaking words of encouragement can mean so much to them.

Realizing others look to me for encouragement and help makes it all the more important for me to focus on God and his blessings for me to start my day especially on days of extra pain or fatigue.

May this song encourage and bless you as much or more than it has me. Thank you for reading. God Bless.
