Before we start, favorite is spelled favourite in British English, but I am an American. 🙂
I want to thank Pooja of lifesfinewhine.com for nominating me to 10 of My Favorite Feelings Tag. I enjoy Pooha’s blog where she shares about university life, mental health issues, fun posts and more. She is my fellow Jedi Star Wars fan, chocolate fan, night owl, and more.
The tag was created by Xandria. I think this is a fun tag and one that can help us focus on positives at this time. 🙂 Please include Xandria’s link in your post.
The Rules
List out 10 of your favourite feelings! It’s honestly just that simple!
My Feelings
Listening to worship
Worship music helps me feel connected with God, start my day, and clear my head of negative stuff. When I listen to worship music, it helps me write and have new ideas.
Visiting my friends from other countries and seeing my students
I love visiting my friends from other countries in their homes. It lets me experience their cultures and share life. We share a lot of laughter at times and at times their are poignant moments as their share their struggles with me.
Oh and I also love eating the food in their homes 🙂
I love to see my students whether in person in a classroom or online. We share fun adventures in learning and yes you guessed it sometimes they bring me food 🙂
Seeing my friends at church
It has been a few months since I have been able to go to the church building. I love being there on Sunday mornings and seeing my friends. I am thankful I can stay connected with some of them via Zoom meetings.
Taking naps
I love naps. Naps help me get through rough days with chronic illness.
Having chocolate
HELLO CHOCOLATE my old friend I’ve come to enjoy you again. I have an old Simon and Garfunkel song in my mind now. haha
It is my companion that gives me the simple pleasure of indulging myself. 🙂
Hanging out in coffee shops
Coffee shops are fun places for me because I can people watch, write in my blog, meet new people, read a book and all over a nice cup of coffee or occasional hot chocolate or both. 🙂
Traveling
Being in another country and learning about the culture for me is energizing. It gives me a whole new perspective on life. International travel is a fun adventure for me and has given me friends in other places especially Brazil.
Sleeping in late on rainy or cloudy days
When I do not need to wake up early to teach a class, I love to sleep late.. Rainy or cloudy mornings help me sleep. In fact yesterday I woke up at 10am. 🙂
Seeing former students
I love it when I see former students and can hear about their lives. It is a joyous occasion to run into them at various events or just in normal life like at a market.
Connecting with other bloggers
For me connecting means meaningful comments shared. Reading posts of other bloggers, I do have an eclectic taste, broadens my horizons. I have also enjoyed connecting with some with Zoom blogger chats.
I will, like Pooja, nominate some bloggers. I have started opening up for anyone who reads when I do these because it allows for more people to have fun. If you are not one of my nominees, please feel free to join in.
My Nominees are
Tina
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
