We Are Not Forgotten

My life has been in Zoom for the past 3 months teaching my classes. I haven’t had much in person contact with other people except when I stop in at a store. It would be easy to feel forgotten by the world, except by my students, but then God does little things.

Monday I received a gift card to a local supermarket in the mail along with a recipe that my friend thinks I can make in my slow cooker. The greeting card the gift card came in had a message we all need to hear.

You Will Never Go Where God Is Not. Such a simple and yet most encouraging truth. God is with us everywhere we go. πŸ™‚

Last night a friend from church sent me this link on Facebook of an article in our local newspaper about Family Literacy continuing online. She noticed the picture was of my class.

It is so encouraging when friends remember us. Speaking of which, I love the truth of Hebrews 6:10:

God remembers everything we do to show his love even the little things. We are never forgotten by God. We may feel forgotten at time especially during shutdowns but we are never forgotten by God.

We are not forgotten and we are not alone. God is always with us πŸ™‚

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

      1. I know the work is rewarding to be able to help others in this way. God Bless you Matt!
Thanks for asking…I am doing well. Been busy with grandbabies these days. πŸ™‚

  1. I’m glad there’s Zoom and similar inventions, it can’t replace real human contact but it’s definitely better than nothing!

  2. I’m glad that God doesn’t forget us, because it’s easy to feel forgotten. I felt forgotten while I was at the hospital waiting for so long. I even pressed the call button and asked if they forgot about me. πŸ˜ƒ Nope, they knew. It was just a long wait. How are you feeling today?

  3. The card you received reminded me of Lauren Daigle’s song, Trust in You. β€œThere’s not a place where I’ll go, You’ve not already stood.” I find great comfort in those words! So, have you cooked, yet??
