In out blogger chat yesterday morning we talked about Here I Am-Send Someone Else moments. It was an uplifting discussion.

I appreciated what Pastor Chuck, Lydia, Ruth, Temi, and Vanessa shared. I always look forward to our blogger chats.
The discussion started with me sharing my recent Here I Am Send Someone Else moment that I had last week.
Over the years it has been my privilege to study through John in the New Testament in my Sunday morning group. My Sunday morning group consists of people from other countries. Jesus has put on my heart to put into writing what he has had me do many times over the years.
I offered to my Life Group to take them through John and they accepted. I shared my notes with my pastor. The first time I shared them he told me they were great. I thought he was just being nice. The second week he said they were fantastic and asked me if I would consider going through John in a Discipleship Training Group.

Hesitation was my first response suggesting that since I am not photogenic perhaps someone else could do it. The deal is that in 20 years I have not ministered to other Americans. I was not sure if people would be receptive. My pastor did not let me off the hook.
So yesterday I sent the notes for the next lesson to him and the assistant pastor who heads up the Discipleship Training Groups.
The thing is that none of us is able to serve Jesus unless he calls us and empowers us which is exactly what he does.
So one of my new adventures is to see where Jesus is leading me with this.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
These words ring really loud with me, I remember the day God called me into ministry as a Pastor, I had many excuses for our Lord, I am not smart enough, this is for someone younger, just starting in their lives, however God doesn’t call the equip, He equip those who He has called, Praise His Name, because as I look back so far in my life I can see how His Spirit has lead me and lead me in what I have preach.
Matt, You correspond with us daily. Many of us are Americans, you will do great! .πΊ
Thank you πππ
An adventure for sure! π

How exciting! Just think of it this way – if even one person is blessed, moved, encouraged, or inspired by what you say, that could be the reason God inspired you to do this! You don’t have to worry about the outcome, only the obedience. God will take care of the results. We’re all praying for you!
Thank you for praying πππ
It’s easy to get caught up in the wondering of our own inadequacies. It’s one of my chief struggles, so I definitely relate. Yet, ours isn’t to question His choosing of us or where He directs. When we are faithful to step, He takes care of the rest. Prayers to you, Matt. With God to guide, you’ve got this. You’ve got much wisdom to share.π
Thank you little sister πππ
New adventures are so exciting!!
Yes they are
You will do great and His kingdom will be advanced because of it!
Blessings,
Pastor Chuck

You are so right. God qualifies the who He calls. We just have to trust Him. I am learning this every day of my life.
It is a life long process for all of us
Indeed it is. π
βYou can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you!β You are a teacher, now go teach those Americans all you know about the book of John! Be brave, grasshopper!
Lol grasshopper
Smiles. These moments!.
But thank God He sees beyond us and when we choose to lead by faith, we are amazed at our progress in it. π
Yes Thank God π€π€π€
You will do well teaching fir the Lord!ππ£
Thank you π
Thank you for sharing this with all of us and being so vulnerable. I feel the very same way at times and I know when God (or others) are pushing me in the right direction. I know you will be a blessing to your group!
Thank you π€ππ€
If your teaching is as entertaining and real as your titles and blogs, then you’ll be fantastic! God is able, we are sent.
Thank you. Yes he is able we are sent
Did I borrow that quote from you, Matt, or somebody else? I read it somewhere and it blessed me enormously.
I shared it in a post. My pastor says it at the end of services every week
THANK YOU AND YOUR PASTOR THEN . π
