I bought a dozen eggs this week, which caused me to ponder a few things about eggs. One time I made the mistake of putting eggs in a bowl, not in the shell, and microwaving them. They didn’t taste very good but the bigger problem was how much they stuck to the bowl.
So I had a few questions about cooking eggs. One was if I cook them in olive oil in a pan but then put ranch dressing on them are they still healthy? I never got an answer for that one.
I did get an answer to my other question. I wondered if one could make hard boiled eggs in a slow cooker. Fortunately a friend from my Life Group had the answer and gave me instructions. So later today will be my first time to try to cook hard boiled eggs in my slow cooker.I hope it works out.
Why is it that learning other language is easier for me than figuring out what to do with eggs?
We are so fortunate that God is omniscient-all knowing- and nothing is too difficult for him. He knows what we need before we ask. Jesus taught that in Matthew 6.
You can have complete confidence in Jesus when you pray to him. But you should have zero confidence in me to cook for you 🙂

I’ve never tried hard boiled eggs in a slow cooker, but I am a fan of making them in an instant pot (pressure cooker). They come out perfect every time and are so easy to peel. I’ll never go back to stove top boiling!
Learning to use instant pot would put pressure on me 😂
HaHa! I’ll admit, it scared me a little at first but turns out to much easier to use than I ever imagined.

Hmmm 🤔…that’s a good question. I guess it depends on what you’re trying to cook. You probably would need to stick to the slow cooker so everyone stays safe. We don’t want any fires in the kitchen. 🔥😂🔥

Cooking can be a learned skill to a degree. Faith in our Awesome God is a gift He gives as we turn to Him. Therefore, Matt, I may never brave your cooking, but I am all in with God!

Wow….the way in which God distributes gifts is just above human understanding 🤔🤣😅🤔🤣…..I wish I could learn a language easily….I moved to a different state11 years ago and still cant even understand the language(every state in india ….usually has a different language with many sub dialects in addition)….so I could really use your skill…..only if I had it 🙃🤣🙃🤭….

I really hope you did not boil your egg in a slow cooker. Just put it in a sauce pan and watch it boil for a couple minutes then turn off the flame. If you tell me your secret of learning a language easily I will tell you my secret about cooking. 😊
