It is September in Nebraska. That may not have much meaning to anyone not living where I live, but here when the weather gets crazy, we just say- It’s Nebraska.

Case in point- Today the high temperature will be 100 F/38 C and Tuesday the high temperature will be 48 F/9 C. So this afternoon if I go outside, it will be shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Tuesday will cause me to think about getting my sweaters ready.
Labor Day weekend in the USA signals the end of summer for us because it is the last three day weekend with warm weather. It also signals the beginning of the roller coaster ride where I live know as fall weather with rapid changes.
I am thankful that Jesus never changes. Hebrews 13:8 says:
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
His character never changes. He is the eternal Son of God. How he appears to us changes, eternal Son of God in heaven, baby born to grow to die for us, crucified, resurrected body etc. But his character and his divinity never change. We can always count on him.
So summer is coming to an end in the Northern Hemisphere. Will you miss summer? Or do you prefer fall?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
