As many of you probably already know, Netflix has a movie it recently posted called Cuties. After watching maybe about 10 seconds of the trailer, I stopped it and canceled my Netflix. The director claimed she was trying to criticize the exploitation of children but the problem is she exploited children to do so by having them perform they way she did.
The number of children who go missing every year is staggering. The number of children who are trafficked is alarming. The alarming numbers I am talking about are not just in poor countries, it is happening the the USA too.
If you want to know what Jesus thinks of anyone who would traffick a child, in Matthew 18 while having a child in his presence, Jesus said:
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Canceling Netflix is the least a person can do. I saw that for the trailer on YouTube for Cuties there were 1.6 million dislikes which is good. What worries me is the 36,000 likes for it. How many were pedophiles?
We need to do much better at protecting children. We need mandatory tough prison sentences for those who traffick children, harm and exploit children.
In California, a law was enacted that allows for someone found guilty of “consensual” sex with a minor who is less the ten years younger to not have to register as an offender. So do the math. If a 19 year old does something to a 10 year old, the 19 year old will not have to register as a sex offender in California. Why in the world was such a law even considered?
This is an issue that should concern everyone regardless of political affiliation. Children need to be protected.

Wow, I had not heard about that California law. Yes, protect our children. Thanks for sharing about your cancellation of Netflix. I also get emails from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE). They do a wonderful job putting out factual info, petitions, and raising awareness to the trafficking problems in our nation. It’s been really enlightening- God has me praying for those trafficked often.

Amen! Thank you for speaking the truth about this! I have been warning for years that the LGBTQ agenda was pushing for pedophilia to be legal. They call it LGBTQ+P. They are trying to make pedophilia a sexual preference! May God smite their wicked agenda! Thank God for all the child rescue operations Trump has done. Thousands have been saved, but the media never talks about it because they want to hide the child trafficking network. So many people at the highest levels are involved in it (Hollywood, media, congress, judges, and more). That is why they hate Trump so much. He has been dismantling their whole network. Many high profile names have stepped down from powerful positions and many have been arrested. Praying the NWO’s whole evil cabal is taken down! God bless!

Horrible, horrible!!😣 I read about that new law in California – disgusting. These people are sick and I mean really sick. We truly need to protect our children. I disconnected cable and Netflix a very long time ago.

This is so sad. I am so broken that ANYone could find pleasure in harm another human being in such vile ways, especially our precious children! I cancelled my Netflix a long time back because the filth kept getting worse, even with parental controls. I agree with you… how on earth could such laws even be considered!! You would think they would see this is conflict to the new law that does away with the term child prostitute for anyone under 18 because it is considered not possible to give your consent before this age, and adults know better. We need God’s intervention!

I heard my daughter mentioned this movie also? there is a petition of Facebook to cancel Netflick. We are living in a deplorable world where money speaks for everything. What could possess those parents to allow their underage daughters to do such deplorable movie? Money!

I haven’t heard of this movie, but I got rid of Netflix some time ago because too many of their shows were not what I considered safe viewing for my children anymore.
There are many ways to protect our children, and one way is to become educated as parents as to how traffickers work. We had a group who rescued trafficked women come out to our ministry a few years ago and teach church leaders some of the ways they find, entice and entrap young girls without having to kidnap them. This group also explained how they rescue girls, among many other things. It was very helpful to understand more what is happening under our noses. I have 7 girls and this is a scary topic. I am grateful to be able to speak frankly with my kids about the topic and teach them things to be aware of, watch for, and avoid in order to stay safer.
