It is easy to express gratitude and praise when things are going well in our lives. But what about when life is difficult?
Life can be rough at times as we go through down times with the twists and turns . Who do we look to when life seems to fall apart around us?
Jesus promised to never leave us. He will walk through the storms of life with us.
I love the message the lyrics of Praise You In The Storm by Natalie Grant. Jesus does not need our worship or praise. He does not need an ego boost. Praise helps us not Jesus. When we choose to praise in the middle of a storm, we enter his presence to receive strength, grace, and comfort.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
Amen! Praise does indeed help us to turn our minds toward Jesus. I love this song. I had until now only heard the version by Casting Crowns, but now Natalie Grant’s has definitely become one of my favourites. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you π
Glad to share it.
Agree, I have always said it is easy to praise God on the mountain top but so much harder to Praise Him in the valley, that is when we need to do it even more.
Blessings my friend
Thank you. How is your daughter?
She is still been in a lot of pain, a difficult journey as of yet. Thank you so much Matt for asking

Iβll have to listen to this one when I get a chance..subbing today…

Very good choice of song… so beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Glad to share it π
My husband, and I start every morning with prayer & reading. Before we do that we begin with a gratitude list. It is so helpful to start our day with a heart full of gratitude. As humans we can have stinking thinking, but that is our choice. We chose to not be stuck in that. We chose gratitude. It really works too! In the midst of the storm learn to lift our hands in praise of the water drenching us. We know God is the allowing the storm for a reason. God bless thanks for sharing! Lisa
Starting with gratitude each morning can make a big difference
Yesterday you wrote about how a stormy day changed your plans & then you shared this song. Do I sense a theme?

I love the song you shared, added to my fav playlist.
I am a huge campaigner for praising God in tough times.
It is magical. God comes through like a Mighty Man of war.
I literally feel Him fight the battle.
