October is almost finished and it was a crazy month. Aside from the election craziness, big tech censoring, constant barrage of campaign ads, there were other things that made it a wild ride.

College football started for my team Oct, 24th which normally would have been the 8th game of the season. The game scheduled for Saturday Oct, 31st was canceled due to the visiting team having COVID cases.

The school I teach in needed to have students and teachers for two classes self quarantine due to COVID cases.

We had our first snow this past Monday. The temperatures for a few days were December like not October like. That is early for where I live.

Those are just a few examples of how crazy October has been. In the midst of all of that, I am glad for some eternal truths.

Hebrews 13:8- “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

John 16:33- “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Matthew 28:20- :And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus’ character never changes. Jesus has overcome the troubles of this world. Jesus is always with us. Those are three wonderful eternal truths to count on when the world is crazy.

Let’s remember them in November because I am not certain it will be any saner. 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

All I know is that He can sustain us in all seasons of our lives. Do try to keep warm with the cold weather.
