Happy Valentines Day to my readers. My prayer is that all of my readers/followers come to know the wonderful unconditional love of Jesus. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
The love Jesus spoke of and this verse speaks of is agape love. Agape love is unconditional love. The New Testament was written in Koine Greek which has different words for different types of love. Agape is the love God has for us and when we experience God’s love, we can then show God’s love to others as John wrote in 1st John 4:
We love because he first loved us.
Yes Valentines Day is more about romantic love or friendship love, my hope is for my readers to know and experience God’s unconditional love.
