Escaped to A Coffee Shop for 1 Hour

Friday morning when I went out to my car, I found I had a dead car battery, so I could not go anywhere. It was like God telling me stay put for a while after mu surgery.

But today a friend helped me put a new battery in. Actually he did all of the work while I watched and chatted with him. To celebrate my car starting, I escaped from my confinement to a coffee shop.

FREEDOM πŸ™‚ lol

I only stayed for one hour but it felt great. I went all out and had nachos and Moroccan Mint Iced Tea. No pain meds today. I will be ready to teach tomorrow morning.

How is your Sunday?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. I’m glad you took that dead battery in stride Matthew. Stress would only slow your healing process down. Stay safe and get well in the nurturing care of Gods healing balm of love. Those nachos sound pretty good about now…must have jalapenos. πŸ€—

      1. Oh yeah, with lots of cilantro, but I’m more of a pico de gallo gal, with guacamole too. Yum.

  2. It’s 82 degrees without a cloud in the sky here at my GPS location. Sitting on the back porch sipping hot peppermint tea and pondering some writing ideas.

    A relaxing day.

Thanks for asking, Matt. I’m glad you got that new battery installed and enjoyed your time at the coffee β˜•οΈ shop.

  3. Glad you are feeling better now and that you got your car battery fixed. Sounds like a double blessing.

It’s good to sometimes break out of our cocoon and relish the beauty of life outdoors. Sounds like you had a great time at the coffee shop.

    Have an amazing week ahead.

  4. Matt, I’m catching up to a post or two. My wife and I are scheduled for our first dose of the vaccine this Thursday. To say the least, we haven’t escaped to a coffee shop yet.
