Music Mondays- Lord of All by First Call

On a Sunday morning in July 1989, I drove to a park with a lake in it to spend time with Jesus before going to church. I had been to an outdoor Christian concert the day before where I had an encounter with Jesus while worshiping It was so powerful, that feeling his presence stayed with me as I drove home, went to sleep, and got ready for church the next morning..

I loved and still love lyrics such as

Lord of all
Of all seen and unseen things
Of a universe that sings and calls You
Lord of all

While listening to the song, I read my bible and then prayed to rededicate my life to Jesus. Over the past 32 years, there have been ups and downs in my life It has certainly not been a picnic. I have experienced financial difficulties, health problems, and other struggles.

Would I say it has been worthwhile? Definitely YES. Why?

Jesus took me who was perhaps the least likely to be in ministry in anyone’s eyes at the time and led me through education, experience, PRAYER, to have a ministry for refugees and immigrants. When I run into someone who knew me long ago and share with them about my life now, the response I get is- “What happened to you?”

Jesus is Lord of All. He can transform the hearts, souls, and lives of anyone who comes to him. He has all power and loves us so deeply. He loves us so much he accepts us the way we are when we come to him but he also loves us too much to leave us the way we are. That has been true in my life.
