Today is November 1st which means it is the month we celebrate Thanksgiving in the USA. It seemed fitting to share this new song by Francesca Battistelli- God Is Good.
Jesus said in John 16
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
I do not minimize the problems we may face in this life and neither did Jesus. We have trouble in this world such as the current pandemic and its consequences, such as family problems, sickness, financial problems and in some places in the world Christians are imprisoned or killed.
Jesus did not ignore the troubles we face. He calls us to look to him because he has overcome the world. He will share the victory with us. When we know Jesus, we can know that this life is temporary. We can be thankful in any situation because we know it is not forever,
