Time Change Sunday

Thanks to the time change and the extra hour of sleep, I am ready to go on this Sunday. First it will be to church for my Sunday morning class and then worship service. Worship is something I look forward to each week. Being together with fellow Christians to worship Jesus is a highlight of my week each week.

In my Sunday morning class, we have friends from El Salvador and Venezuela. We also have a 78 year old grandmother who likes to join us. She tries to learn a new Spanish word each week which is endearing to my Hispanic friends.

After church where should I go? This may surprise you but I feel the need to go to my favorite coffee shop to hang out, do some writing, and perhaps go next door the to Natural food store and get some of their deli food for lunch. I will also bring a Spanish book with me to practice reading.

Today will also be an unusually warmer day for my neck of the woods. It will be almost 70f/21c this afternoon. In November that is unusual but reality will come back strong tomorrow. So this will probably be the last day to enjoy a walk in the park and take in the fall colors.

What are your Sunday plans?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Matt, thanks for sharing your blessed Sunday plans. I was up early this morning, really early. I forgot about the extra hour so I just stayed up. The rest of the day followed later with church worship, brunch at home, Browns football, and reading blog posts. I hope you enjoyed an extra cup or two of coffee. I reached my quota plus some.

  2. Hi Matt, awesome after worship plans you had. One of our member’s mother and grandmother from Grenada πŸ‡¬πŸ‡© prepared Grenadians dishes for us for caring for their 25 year old daughter/granddaughter Giselle Thomas, CBS4 News Reporter. Great food, fun, fellowship.
