Living for Jesus, following Jesus, means we come to moments that we surrender our will and give things to Jesus. It is not always easy, but is so worthwhile.
When we give our struggles to Jesus, we invite him to do his work through us. When we give ourselves to him, we grow closer to him in relationship with him.
The reason Jesus came was to bring us back into relationship with him and the Father. We give God our disappointments and watch him work.
