Christmas Eve- What Are You Worth- O Holy Night

Do you ever doubt your worth? Feel less than others? Struggle with memories of past failures, mistakes, or trauma?

I love the lyrics of O Holy Night

It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear’d and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices

Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.

You are worth so much to God, he values you so much, that Jesus left heaven to come to earth as a human baby to grow to become our Savior. God loves, values, you so much that you are worth it all to him. He spared no expense to rescue us.

That is what we celebrate on Christmas Eve remembering the night our Savior Jesus was born.

So I share this version of my favorite Christmas Song, O Holy Night, with you in hopes of encouraging you that God loves you.

Thank you for reading. God Bless. Merry Christmas.

      1. Victoria is still dealing with a lot of pain and with the difficult pain she also deals with seizures, yesterday on Christmas she had many seizures. However, it was wonderful to know that she is still here with us and that her brother came home from Texas. I pray that the New Year she will have less pain. Thank you for your prayers and concerns as always

  1. Amen! This is a very encouraging word! I have been struggling a lot this year with feelings of shame & guilt from past mistakes. So thankful for His grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness! Merry Christmas!

  2. Yep! I’ve struggled with those negative thoughts. But God has taught and still teaching me that understanding His love for me will change all those negative thoughts. He loves us and has a purpose for each of us. We are all beautiful in His sight.
