One of the blessings of having traveled to Brazil, France, Mexico and Romania on ministry trips is having had the experience of worshiping with fellow Christians in their languages. It has also been a blessing to do so in Hispanic churches, Karen People churches, Korean churches, Sudanese, Ukrainian churches and Vietnamese churches in my city. Having such wonderful opportunities gives me an appreciation for what Jesus said in John 3:16:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God loves all people, so he sent Jesus. It is a simple yet most profound truth.
As I join worship today at my church, I will be aware that we are joining with fellow believers all over the world and in those in heaven. Some worship in secret because of the danger from their governments or from their culture. Some worship in freedom hopefully not taking that freedom for granted.
As I join worship today, I will also be aware that there are untold millions of people worshiping in heaven. What an awesome sight that would be to behold, millions of people worshiping in heaven in front of the throne of Jesus.
The video I am sharing is a recording of Come Now Is The Time to Worship with a brief introductory back story about the writing of this wonderful worship song.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
Amazing thing when people of different languages worship God around the world. 🥰🙏
It is amazing. It broadens our view of the kingdom of God 🙂
Jesus died for everyone. No one is excluded. Praise the Lord
