If you have seen the movie Wizard of Oz and the scene where Dorothy and pals skip along while singing, “We’re off to see the wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz,” well, it isn’t exactly like that for me today.
This afternoon is time for my Rheumatologist appointment. The one I see now is a doctor I wish I had started with in the first place. Anyone who lives with autoimmune issues can tell you that a person can feel like a pinball bouncing around from doctor to doctor until they find that one doctor who finally seems to know what they are doing. This doctor is that one. The one who actually listened and put it all together.
Still I would rather be in the classroom with my students, or at a coffee shop, or at church. Okay so I would rather be anywhere else than at a doctor, well, except for a dentist. 🙂
