Conversation with one of my students yesterday.

Student- “Teacher when will spring come?”

Me- “Do you mean on the calendar or the weather?”

Student- “The weather.”

Me- “I am sorry. This is Nebraska. The only correct answer is we never know.”

Just a humorous way to introduce something. During times of turmoil, we might worry about the future, wonder when the turmoil will end. Dealing with uncertainty is stressful.

Jesus created time for us to exist in, however, he exists outside of time. He is eternal. He stepped into time when he came to earth to become our Savior, but he is not confined by the boundaries of time. That means he is with us both now and in our future at the same time. Best of all, he loves us deeply.

We might not know the future, but we can know the person who knows our future-Jesus.

    The first time I ever heard that concept preached really blew my mind! The one where Jesus is in our past, present and future-all at the same time, because He is not limited by time, He’s just the Creator of time. 💜🙌🏼

    This can be a tough concept to wrap our heads around but such a comfort, too, knowing He holds our times in His hands. And can definitely relate about the never knowing of spring. Kansas is definitely much the same as Nebraska on that! 🙂

    Jeremiah 29:11 and John 14 should be our guiding principle when we feel troubled about tomorrow. Jesus’ got our back always He says tell the righteous that it will be well with them
