Rainy Mornings :)

It is a rainy morning here and will probably be so all day. I love rainy mornings and rainy days for one reason. They are so good for sleeping. I already know a nap or maybe even two will be on the agenda today. πŸ™‚

They said it would be a snowy morning, but I didn’t fall for that this time. Fool me once, but not twice weather people. Last week they said snow and out of concern for safety I arranged to teach the class in Zoom for one evening. By the time we finished, it hadn’t snowed.

When it is rainy day and my day off on the same day, I feel like it is permission to indulge myself with a little binge watching of a show, order delivery food, and stay in bed most of the day. If it clears up later today, then I will venture out to the coffee shop.

I set a goal to relax this spring break. I feel I have accomplished that goal. I haven’t done much other than spending time with Jesus, blogging, taking naps, and teaching my evening classes at the college. Those classes will be on break after next Wednesday.

Do you like rainy days?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. I am glad you said β€œI love rainy mornings and rainy days.” One of upcoming blog is title Rain, Rain Go Away. I love rainy days and all days God allows me to see despite weather conditions. Have a great day.

  2. Rainy days are quite good and full of the fun, relaxing things you mentioned-as long as I have nowhere I need to go. πŸ™‚

  3. Sounds nice. I am all right. Not a lot needing done today, so that’s good. Just been curled up with the dog and my favorite blanket. πŸ™‚

  4. Well, sometimes I like rainy days. Other times I long for the sunshine. But I took our neighbors dog for a picnic in the rain recently. We both enjoyed that. πŸ™‚

    1. I like both too. I really like a cloudy rainy morning to help me sleep longer then sunny the rest of the day.
It would be fun to go for a walk with you sweet daughter πŸ™‚
