Q and A with Me-My Answers

I would like to thank the bloggers who participated in my Q and A with me. I enjoyed your questions. Please check out their blogs. πŸ™‚

Hilary of Sereneluna at sereneluna.net asked- Perhaps you have already answered this question, but I have a question: What country do you live in?

I live in the United States in the Midwest but I feel like I am from many places because I love travel so much. πŸ™‚

Cats and Coffee at midlifecatlady64.wordpress.com asked- Do you cook at all, and if so what do you cook best?

I am a wiz at using my microwave. My best recipe is when one of the moms I teach brings me food. I take it home and put it in the refrigerator. Then I put some in the microwave πŸ™‚

My friend Megan doesn’t write a blog. She just likes reading posts. She asked- I know you speak Spanish and Portuguese. If you could learn another language, what would it be?

There are so many I would like to learn. I think I would go with that would allow me to help people from another country living here like Ukrainian, But then I always loved how Italian sounds.

Dawn of dawnfanshawe.wordpress.com asked- I have 2 questions I would wish to ask you, Matt –
Which is your favourite season and why?
Do you or would you ever drink decaffeinated coffee?

My favorite season is fall/autumn. I love that time of year because it is not hot anymore like summer, the leaves change color, and I can enjoy the outdoors.

Decaffeinated coffee? Yes I heard such a substance exists but I have not partaken of it πŸ™‚

Elizabeth of decodingmydiary.wordpress.com asked- If you could meet with anyone of the biblical characters who would it be & what would you like to ask them?

There are SO MANY I want to meet. Of course Jesus would be first and foremost but I think you are asking about other ones. I think I would want to meet John the Apostle because I love reading his writings in the bible. But I would also want to meet Mary Magdalene because her story of going from outcast to first person to see Jesus after his resurrection fascinates me.

Emily of emillykadondiliterature.wordpress.com asked- Okay this is more serious, what course did you do in highschool and why ? Ohh and are courses in your country as hard as ours

Our educational system is different here. All of the students are together in one high school. There are minimum requirements for graduating and advanced classes we call AP classes all in the same building. Students study all courses English, Math, Science etc. It is at university or college students major in an area of study. My university degree has three majors- Management and Organizational Leadership, Psychology, and Biblical Studies.

In high school the courses can be challenging AP-Advanced Placement- courses that give college credit.

Herry of herrychiccounsels.com asked- My question to you: What has been the most inspiring moment(s) in the year for you?

So many to choose from but I think when my therapist said to me, “You are not a statistic. People who go through what you went through growing up can end up drug addicts/alcoholics, in prison or dead. You make a difference in people’s lives every day. You are not a victim. You are a victor.”

David of davidsdailydose.org asked- What is your favorite color, Matt?

Not sure I have a favorite one but my students would tell you blue because I tend to buy mostly blue shirts.

Dawn of drawingclosertochrist.com asked- What is an important lesson you have learned during the pandemic?

Look to Jesus because in all of the confusion and doubt that changed from day to day Jesus is the only true constant in life.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
