I am working on two writing projects. One is about my life journey ranging from growing up in a home with an alcoholic father and mentally mother, head trauma, a health crisis, and how I came to know Jesus along the way, to where I am now. It is more of a testimony. The other is a bible study guide about living with trauma and how Jesus can help.

So I am toying with the idea of combing the two into one with the bible study guide being the second part.
Please let me know your reaction. Separate books or combined?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
I think you will do great combining both. You are good at merging everyday life into a biblical lesson. I am looking forward to it. I hope you are have a great weekend.
I too think he ought to do that π
Thank you little sister
Thank you little sister. How are you?
Am okay π
All the best
Thank you π
Youβre welcome
I like the idea of separate entities. You could use some of your life in the bible study on trauma, but I think your story has much more to offer on resilience after trauma, or beyond trauma.
Thank you little sister π
I seems like a lot of ground to cover in one book, but it could be a good package deal. I say make it one book, but edit like crazy!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts
I really like the idea of two different books as some people might want to read a Testimony while others prefer an actual Bible Study.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts π
I think it would be a good idea to combine the two books. Your testimony and bible study would complement each other. They could see how religion helped you and then read about how the bible can guide them. πΊ

One book
Go with your passion for how you want to write the book and follow the path where you have the greatest peace. No one knows your story like you do and how to write it. Pray and listen to the Holy Spirit, as he will direct you to the best course. God will let you know the best way to write your story. You have an unique story, so tell it in your unique style. Blessings!

What does your heart say? I will go with that.
The Bible is one Big book with testimonies of who God is and His love for His people.
May the Holy Spirit guide your fooststeps
May He give you the wisdom to make the right decision
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Thank you little sister π
I’d say combined.
I’m writing something as a combination too – a healing journey process in one part and the other part is examples and excerpts from the actual journey. To me it sounds like a similar sort of combination.
It works in my head, but mine is not finished and I can’t tell you from experience yet that it is a success.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts π
I’d be very interested in reading it!
Combined and I would love to review it.
Thank you little sister π π π
Sounds like they could be combined.
Thank you little sister. How are you this weekend?
I am coming along. Just busy with work and school. How are you?
I am ok. What classes do you have?
I only have two weeks left in the semester but I have Managing Organizations. Next class is business planning and launch.
You are my intelligent little sister π
Hope Iβm not too late on an opinion, Iβd love to see them separate this way itβs not overwhelming with both dynamics. Excited to read either way though!!!
Thank you little sister. Please tell Paige I said hi
I will do that!!
Hi Matt. How about the testimony book as stand alone but with an accompanying Bible study booklet as an optional extra? π Hope you’re well by the way!
Thank you for your thoughts!!!
