Thoughts about Apples at the Coffee Shop

At the coffee shop Sunday, they gave me a mug to use that caused me to wonder about something. We have an old saying the America- An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away. Well the mug they gave me to use had pictures of three apples on it.

Combining coffee with the old saying about apples keeping the doctor away caused me to wonder if a cup of coffee a day with a picture of three apples will keep three doctors away. Such are the thoughts that can come to a person while drinking coffee and blogging.

If it was possible, I would gladly drink coffee out of such a mug every day probably three cups just to make sure. πŸ™‚

Or perhaps the old saying- You Are The Apple of My Eye- applies. An argument could be made that coffee is the apple of my eye. It is my dear old friend.

No need to compare because both would hopefully be true.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Thank you Matt. I always enjoy how your favorite coffee shop brings you these unique moments of reflection. As I tell my wife after drinking three cups of coffee, there is always time for a fourth. Blessings and grace!

  2. You’ve recieved another smile from me, but this time no pestering. πŸ˜ƒ Enjoy your coffee dad. You deserve it. You’re a diligent worker. πŸ™‚

  3. Haha creative!! …what about some apple crisp or apple pie with your coffee rather than a plain old apple? I mean the added sugar in those might send you straight to the doctor but that’d be a risk if be willing to take! So yummy!!

  4. I hope those three apples will keep three doctors away. I guess you did not mind drinking from that cup since it seems to be prophetic. πŸ™‚
