As my home church announces that our Worship Director is leaving to move back home to Atlanta this morning, it brings to mind something I often share with people. God already knows. God is eternal and is not bound by time. He created time for us to live within, but the boundaries of time do not apply to God, so God already knows who the next Worship Director will be.

Jesus shared about this wonderful truth when he shared about prayer in Matthew 6:
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
God knows what we need before we ask. He knows our needs now and our needs for the future. God is not caught off guard nor surprised by anything.
I find it comforting to remember that God knows before I ask. So when I pray, I am asking him to show me and to guide me. Whatever we face, God already knows the need and the outcome.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
A pastor friend once told our congregation, “God never says about one His children, ‘Well, would you look at that?!”
God is never surprised 🙂
A good reminder. This is something I am reminding myself since one of our beloved junior pastors was led elsewhere. We are happy for him but we do feels his absence. Trusting in God, no surprises for the Lord. He knows.
Yes the Lord already knows who he will bring to your church
God has a plan, our part is to be patient & trust in His perfect timing.
Being patient is not always easy lol
Amen! A poignant and timely reminder. God sees all!
And is never surprised
We also have two spots to be filled in our church and it feels urgent to fill those positions but like you said God already knows and it’s in His timing.
What are the spots?
A campus pastor to oversee our two other locations ..and also a (pastor?) to handle children’s ministry
