Tuesday evening in my class, my students were all enthused about the new books we received for studying. When it was time to go to the computer lab, they all wanted to stay in class and study from the new books. Realizing that we are expected to spend time in the computer lab each class, I told them. “that’s good because the more we study from the Student Book, the more homework I can give you from the Workbook.”
Suddenly they changed their minds and wanted to go to the computer lab. 🙂
We have choices daily about what we want to do with our time and effort. Do we spend time with Jesus to start our day? Do we live for him today?
We also have the most important choice of all, which is whether we will choose to trust in Jesus as our Savior or not.
As Joshua said in Joshua 24:15
“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
By the way this evening my students will not have a choice. They will receive homework. 🙂

If only wee would ‘see’ beforehand the consequences of our decisions just as you were able to show your students. But then again, we have been told the consequences we just choose to disobey
We may not see what is ahead but God does 🙂
Gotta make a conscious effort to choose Jesus daily then our other decisions will hopefully bring glory and honor to Him!!
