If you want to torture a creative type person, make them sit down and focus on detail task oriented stuff. That is my experience with getting my book Jesus Understands Trauma published. It is all written. It is the detail task oriented stuff causing a slight delay. I have been at the coffee shop for three hours doing just that.
We got most of it done. Hopefully publication will happen within a week. 🙂
It might be difficult to believe, but as a teacher I love being in the classroom. It is the monthly paperwork I do not enjoy.
I am thankful for my young friend Ellen from the church office who knows about the detail stuff. She has the temperament for it too.
God has gifted each of us differently. He is like the symphony conductor who envisions how all of the instruments blend together. Our diverse personalities and giftings blend together to share Jesus’s love with the world. As it says in Ephesians 2:10:
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
LOL. that sounds like trauma
It is a bit stressful lol
Matt, it is wonderful that Ellen is helping you with the detail stuff. You have had many helpers on the book which is good!
God’s people are wonderful to work with
Yes, they are.. We do so much better in unity and helping one another.
Blessings Matt! God continues to guide and enrich this journey.
Amen
So glad you have Ellen’s help! I’m sure patience is being put to good use through this book process!
She is a great help. Ugh patience lol
