I have a Chromebook I use for my ministry and classes I teach. The reason I bought it some time ago is because it is lighter weight and as someone with more than one chronic illness, that is good during a flare up. I would have bought a Macbook Air, but the Chromebook was much cheaper.

My Chromebook had an automatic update the other day but the update kept buffering. It was buffering for an hour. So I googled how to reset a Google Chromebook. After following the directions, the reset worked, the update happened quickly, and the thoughts of needing to replace were gone. I felt like a tech genius. 🙂

The experience made me think of the process of resetting our minds or renewing our minds like Paul wrote in Romans 12:2.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The directions are found in Colossians 3:16.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
We can reset or renew our minds through the message of Christ, the Word of God, and the vehicles of it? Psalms, hymns, songs from the Spirit, singing. So reading our bibles and worship music can help us reset or renew.
Just a simple thought on a Saturday. Time for the coffee shop is approaching.
What are your Saturday plans?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
