I am still processing Sunday God connecting dots and possibilities are dancing around in my mind. It starts twelve years ago in a small Hispanic church in my city. I joined them for one year on Sunday afternoons to help them and practice Spanish. I met a young engaged couple Alex and Martiza.

Then a few weeks ago, Alex led worship at my church. I knew he had been doing so at another church in my city, so it was a pleasant surprise to see him doing so at my church. He and Mariza are married now and have three young children. We talked after service about meeting for coffee to catch up.

Ideas have been in my mind for writing and possible videos to make. One such video idea deals with cyberbullying and how Jesus understands being harassed. Saturday morning a short story came to mind and I wrote it in an hour. Other short story ideas came to mind to include in my next book. It was like a flood gate opened in my mind Saturday.

This past Sunday after my ESL conversation group we connected in the lobby and set up a time to meet for coffee this week. I went into worship service and much to my elated surprise my friend Alex was introduced as the new Director of Creative Arts for my church.

Instantly thoughts of possibilities flooded my mind. We had set up an appointment for coffee Thursday and then I watched him being introduced.

I wrote another short story yesterday about a man struggling with depression meeting Elijah and will write another one today about a middle school aged boy dreading another change of schools meeting King David. The short stories will be part of my next book.

Drama skits I have written that could be made into short videos have been sitting on the shelf, actually in my Google Docs, waiting to be used.

So Thursday is coming. How much do I share with my friend Alex? We will see. 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
