“Get your body there and your mind will follow.”
Those words have stayed with me over the years and have helped me keep going at time.

Sunday was such a time for me. I woke up Sunday morning drained from the week and was tempted to stay home. But sort of automatically got up, got ready, and went to church. I shared part of that Sunday afternoon in my post A Sunday Morning Boost.
If I had stayed home, here are the blessings I would have missed.
1- Seeing my friend Luis from El Salvador.
2- Hearing from the counseling pastor that a woman who read my book Jesus Understands Trauma came to see him for counseling.
3- Seeing my new friend Jamie who I met the Sunday after he got out of the hospital for depression. He is reading my book as well.
4- An awesome worship service and having an idea for a short story come to mind while worshipping.
5- Time with my friends at the Ukrainian church, sharing the gospel message there, and praying with a woman who is a refugee from there as she trusted Jesus as her Savior.
I had no idea all of that would transpire. I am grateful that once again that advice from several years ago kicked in. I got my body there and soon enough, my mind followed and it was a wonderful day.
Do you have advice like that from someone that kicks in for you at times?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
