Friday is my one day off from everything during the week. It is also the day after for me as in the day after injecting methotrexate. So today I am at home, for now, relaxing and trying to catch up with fellow bloggers while listening to worship music.

The coffee shop might be on the agenda but that decision has not been made yet. Duo Lingo needs to be visited to start Ukrainian lessons. Rosetta Stone needs a visit as well to start Russian lessons. The alphabets are almost the same, so at least that won’t as confusing. 🙂

Yesterday was so nice that I drove around with my car windows down and got plenty of fresh air. Today looks to be the same at least in the morning.

I am looking forward to this weekend with conversation group at my church on Saturday morning and Sunday morning, worship at my church Sunday, and joining the Ukrainian church Sunday afternoon. Following Jesus is never boring.

What are your weekend plans?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

I hope you have a restful day 😊 And that’s wonderful that you’re learning two languages to communicate with your brothers and sisters in Christ. You’re really going above and beyond! Our plans are to move to our new house successfully. Waiting on the movers as we speak.

    1. Pray the move goes smoothly

  2. Enjoy the weather and your weekend, Matt! Try to rest up tonight

    1. I slept a lot thanks
Now we are enjoying some cloudy drizzly weather but that beats snow

  3. I put together a “Men’s Breakfast” at the church once a month with up to 5 of us in the kitchen early Saturday morning (1st Saturday of every month). We pass a bucket for money raised to help kids with camp scholarships. The food is donated. It’s the best breakfast anywhere around. tomorrow, between eggs and bacon and regular pancakes, we will add local handpicked wild rice to the pancake batter, caramel and walnut covered sweet rolls, biscuits and gravy (with a touch of Ghost pepper and pepperoncini), cheesy hash brown potatoes on a bed of diced sausages. And, yes, good coffee and orange juice and so on. This makes it easy to invite people and they come back. I also find someone who has something from their current situation to give a short challenge for living a relational life with God. So if you are ever in the area Matt, you will be the speaker. You can speak as long as you like but we all leave at 9:00

    1. lol can speak as long as I like but you all leave at 9 🙂
After reading your comment, I feel hungry
It is wonderful that you donate to camp scholarships for kids

  4. I used to have Fridays off, and it was wonderful. Now I use Saturdays to read, write, and relax.

    1. Good that you have a day to relax and write

  5. Matt, I always appreciate hearing about what’s up with you. Being retired, I try to find order and balance to each day. Thankfully, God’s Word helps me with this.

    1. I wonder about retiring but teaching ESL at the community college is my intro into the various immigrant communities here
