My new book is finished and published on Amazon. It is called Encounters with the Ancients. Where did I come up with that title? Jeremiah 6:16 says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Encounters with the Ancients is two parts. The first part is a collection of short stories with a narrator introducing the short stories. Each short story is a fictional encounter between someone from the bible times having a conversation with someone in the modern day wrestling with an issue.
The second part is a short book developed from my short story Jessica’s Encounter at the Harbor Coffee Shop. In the story and book, Jessica is a young woman freed from sex trafficking who has an encounter with Mary Magdalene. The book version has more encounters.
