It is 4am and it happened again. I woke up too early or should I say I was awakened early. At least it happened at 4am not 3am. But actually I am thankful that Jesus would wake me up early.

I woke up with that song in my spirit that Abby sings at the Ukrainian church that includes names for God, Elohim and Adonai. God was showing me what to share about when I speak at their church this afternoon. It is for the whole month of March.

The focus will be on what Jesus shared with his disciples before his death and resurrection.

The wee hours of the morning when the world around us is quiet is a time that God can have our undivided attention. Fortunately God also provides nap times in the afternoon.

So my day will be morning at my home church, seeing my friends who come for English conversation, seeing my friends at church, worship. Then come home and take a one hour nap. Then off to the Ukrainian church. No coffee shop today. Naps trump coffee shops sometimes. Both are blessings. 🙂

What is your Sunday going to bring?

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

  1. Good morning, brother Matt.
I woke up an hour early this morning, at five, thinking about a few kids at my school, who are having a hard time. I worried about them, mainly how much grief they could give me next week, but then I realized I needed to pray for them and their families. So I did .
Today, Nancy and I will go to church, then, after lunch, we will sing at a community choir concert at three. Once back home, it will be time for rest, reading, and getting ready for the new week. I’m praying for God richest blessings to be upon you today as you work with so many who’ve been through so much. 🙏May God bless your every effort. Amen!

  2. That is a VERY early time to wake up
