What a blessing yesterday evening to celebrate with Alekseyi, Ruslana and their children. We had a lot of delicious food and a lot of fellowship. A few highlights for me were not about me. They were about Ruslana and her 19 month old grandson.

Ruslana was given the Learner of the Year Award from Lincoln Literacy Council at a lunch yesterday. She has improved her English a great deal and loves learning. I will always remember when she told me why she wants to improve her English. She wants to be able to share about Jesus with Americans.

Her 19 month old grandson is certainly taking after his mother and grandmother. He seems to love music. He likes to sit at the piano and try to play it.

He knows where one button is to press for a song to play and then he turns to look at everyone while they clap with him. I think his piano skills exceed mine. 🙂

We prayed, ate, and had fellowship. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
