2nd Corinthians 10:17-18- But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

Being well aware of my failures and sins in the past, it is such a blessing that Jesus has given me grace and called me to the ministry he has given me.
Being well aware of my current struggles in life, it amazes me how Jesus sustains me and blesses me with opportunities to share him and help others.
Yesterday was a great example. In the morning, I had coffee with a new friend from my church. He works with an agency called Christian Heritage Homes, which ministers to children and teens by providing group homes and helping arrange foster care. We talked about my book Jesus Understands Trauma and possible future ministry connections.
In the afternoon, it was a blessing to meet with Pastor Alekseyi, our friend Alex who translated, and our friend Kerry who is helping New Breath with the process of becoming part of the Evangelical Free Church of America. It is the culmination of many prayers, of stepping out in faith, and serving Jesus.
In between those, I had physical therapy. During therapy, I discovered the PT assistant who was working with me is a Christian. We talked about Christian music. After my session, I gave a copy of my book Jesus Understands Trauma to Abby the receptionist at the clinic.
Such days occur for me for one reason, the grace of God.
Today will be a relaxing day with no plans. What will your day bring?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
