Hebrews 3:1- Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.
One self talk thing I do when I feel lazy, when I have what if thoughts, when tempting thoughts would try to derail me, is to say to myself, “that is not what I am called to do.”
When discouragement or circumstances could get me down. I say to myself, “I am called to share Jesus with the nations, the refugees/immigrants living in my city.
It is so important to remember our calling in life. Remembering we become part of the Royal Priesthood when we come to know Jesus helps us remember we all have a high calling in life.
Remembering that I am an ambassador for Jesus. representing him to others as his follower, remembering how I treat others leaves an impression of Jesus on others, reminds me to be kind, and treat others with respect.
