Yesterday afternoon, I met with Oksenia and Maksym for coffee. They are a young married couple from Ukraine. I meet them their first week in America a few months ago. They are my friends from New Breath the Ukrainian Church.

We met for them to coach me on editing videos. They showed me a program I could use, but then we realized my laptop is too old to use the program. Can’t say I feel bad for my laptop since it is a thing not a living being, but it causes me to think about something.

We are never too old for God. God has done amazing things through people who were older. A classic example is Sarah in the book of Genesis. She had the child of promise, Isaac, when she was in her 90s well past child bearing years.

Then I think about the wonderful promise for those who have gray hair in Isaiah 46:4

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Whatever our age is, God is with us. Jesus promised he will never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus never gives up on us.

I won’t give up on my laptop either. Perhaps there is a program it will work with. lol 🙂

By the way, being a bit older, one fun aspect is joking around with younger people. Oksenia and I made a short video for me to try editing. It is not edited however, but I am sharing it.
