This morning will be my last class with this group of refugees. It is a Welcome Class that runs for one month and then they move on to another class. This group has been a lot of fun to teach. This group consists of three sisters and one brother who are Yazidi, a older married couple from Burma, and one mom from Syria.

The sisters love to joke with their brother. Each morning I ask what they ate for breakfast and the sisters like to say they did not have breakfast because the brother ate all of the food.
They also enjoy helping the older married couple from Burma and cheer for them when they speak. They are also helpful for the mom from Syria.
This morning I will say goodbye to them. That is the nature of the Welcome Class. I am their first teacher in America. A bond forms, a bond of trust, and then it is time to pass them on to the next teacher.
Each morning I ask Jesus to help me be a blessing for my students. This morning it will be time to help them process saying good bye to me and encourage them that the next class will be good.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
