Yesterday as one of my classes wrapped up it caused me to reflect on a constant in my life. So many people have come in and out of my life over the years. People that God has given me the opportunity to teach, help, befriend, and share the love of Jesus.

The constant for me through the years of so many people coming in and out of my life has been Jesus. It has been praying and asking Jesus to help me be a blessing.
A Vietnamese student once shared with me that in Vietnam they say the teacher is like a boatman taking a person from one place to their destination. The teacher is in your life to be part of your journey.

Jesus has been my boatman in my journey in this life. He is taking me from where I was when I rededicated my life to him in July 1989, to where I am now, and will take me further. The huge difference is that Jesus will take me to my final destination which is with him in heaven. One day, I will go to be with him in heaven, not because of me, because of Jesus.
The journey is with Jesus, for Jesus, and ultimately to Jesus. It is as the old song by First Call says- A Scared Journey. The Sacred Journey starts with trusting in Jesus as our Savior, continues with Jesus, to Jesus.
Dear reader, have you trusted in Jesus as your Savior? If you have, are you enjoying the journey?
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
