Desperate is a feeling about an experience, a situation, a condition, that is a normal reaction to adversity. When we feel all hope is lost, we can look to Jesus who took on the most hopeless thing to us, death, and defeated it.
When we feel all is lost, Jesus is with us, working on our behalf, loving us. We can look to him. In our moments of desperation, we can look to Jesus.
