Last night I taught my final class at the downtown location for my college but it is not the end of a era. The adventure will continue at a different location. All of our ESL classes are moving to a different building.

But after teaching in the same building since July 2001, there are memories, so many memories attached to teaching there. So many people I have met there, so many opportunities to show Christ’s love there, so many connections made.

In July when my classes resume, we will be in our new location. So not a major change, but still felt a bit nostalgic last night.

It is also a reminder that God directs and redirects our paths in life for his purposes. He connects us with people along the way for us to be a blessing, to share Jesus with them. We just need to follow his leading.

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

What a wonderful testimony of faithfulness and purpose. Seasons shift, but God’s calling remains. May the new location bring even more opportunities to shine His light.
Be Blessed and Continue to be a Blessing.

  7. Matt, best wishes as the Lord walks with you into this next era. I can recall similar feelings when my final two teaching positions came to an end.

    1. Thank you Richard. Traveling to Montana this summer?

      1. Matt, thanks for asking about summer travel plans. Colleen and I are heading to the Big Sky at the beginning of July.

      2. Do you drive I-80 to get there?

      3. Matt, thank you for asking. We’ve traveled once on I-80. We will take I-90 across Minnesota to Montana on our way out. We haven’t decided on our return route.

  8. Changes can be difficult but as you mentioned, it’s all for God’s purposes and He is leading us every step of the way. Blessings!

    1. One thing we can trust as things change is God’s leading

      1. Yes definitely! However, I am nostalgic too so I get it.
