Listening to CeCe Winan’s song Come Jesus Come this morning on repeat because that is my main feeling. After seeing the video of a young woman, a refugee from Ukraine, being killed on a train and the indifference of those sitting near her to not even check on her to render aid, after more news of war and rumors of war, my main feeling is Come Jesus Come.

The tragedy of the young woman from Ukraine hit me because I thought of the young women from Ukraine that I know personally. The wars and rumors of war, the senseless violence that transpires, show me the world is in desparate need of the Prince of Peace to return. Maranantha Lord Jesus.

But until Jesus returns, there are those he wants me to be a blessing to, so I pray for strength to be able to be a blessing.

    My heart breaks reading this, my friend. The evil in this world seems to grow louder each day, and we continue to see sadness and destruction over and over again. It is truly heartbreaking. But as Christians, we know we cannot stay silent. We must do our part in telling the world about Christ and not be ashamed of the gospel.

    I’ll admit, I often feel insecure speaking out, but I know the Lord uses my writing and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to do wonders. Still, we are called to more, to shine His light boldly in both word and deed.

    The news of Charlie Kirk being shot for speaking what he believed, and the tragedy of that young girl in Ukraine stabbed to death while no one stood to help, it leaves me saying the same thing as you: Come, Lord Jesus, come. Hate him or love him, I respect when someone defends the Word of God and teaches people about Christ, because that truth is eternal.

    Until our Savior returns, may we remain steadfast, standing firm in faith, and being a blessing to those around us.

    The world desperately needs Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Lord Jesus. 🙏🏻

      The violence is terrible. The indifference of no one helping that poor girl bothers me so much. Someone could have applied pressure to her wound and called 911 and perhaps save her life. Come Jesus Come

        I couldn’t believe what I saw in that video. Two people just sitting there, ugh !!! I get the idea of minding your own business, but when it’s a matter of life and death, when someone is bleeding and stabbed for no reason, how can you just sit there and do nothing? It’s unbelievable… Now I understand why my wife always says she hates people. Sometimes people really are just unreal.

        Big brother, I am sorry to hear about your friends and so many others who are experiencing life in war torn countries. The violence, yes, is terrible. I am ready if the Lord comes back today. Our world has gone so far astray. Praying for you and families of everyone affected.

    We need to learn to love and care for one another. Come Jesus come! I am praying for peace for the end of violence and indifference. With each prayer, I hope for a world where compassion reigns and hearts are open to understanding. 🙏🌺🙏

    I admit I was literally shocked, when I read the article about this incident. The indifference we demonstrate when we don’t care about what we don’t care about is astounding and disappointing. May the Lord have mercy on us

    I love that song. I felt the same way, especially when seeing the tragedies that are occurring daiy in Gaza and Sudan. Come Jesus Come.
