Praying for peace and for wars to end like the one in Ukraine, praying for peace in Israel, praying for peace in the world, always brings to my mind one truth about the world and about Jesus. There will not be lasting peace until Jesus returns.

It is not some abstract thinking on my part. For many years, God has blessed me with opportunities to help refugees and share the love of Jesus with them. Many are refugees who fled war torn countries like my friends from Ukraine. I have seen the trauma they carry with them and heard their stories.

So I pray to Jesus, the Prince of Peace, for the war in Ukraine to end, for peace in Israel, for peace in the world. But I also pray for him to return which quickens my soul that there are so many that are not ready for his return. So then my prayers are also for Jesus to draw people to himself and to use me as one of his many vessels to draw people to him.

Maranantha Lord Jesus

Thank you for reading. God Bless.

    1. Spread of the gospel so important

  2. Amen, you are not alone with such prayers

  3. Praying that all injustices in the world will end because there wont be peace without justice. “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
    Mercy and truth go before Your face.” (Psalms 89:14). I pray that the Lord will bring righteousness and justice to all the corrupt nations.
