I could feel it coming on but pressed on. Another autoimmune flare up hit me. Yesterday was the worst, but God gave me grace to be able to teach my classes. It was tempting to stay home and call in sick, but then I thought of my students and slowly got going, prayed for strength, and thanked God for the opportunities he gives me.

Such times cause me to think about the truth in 2 Corinthians 12:9-But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Jesus gave me the strength to get through the day and not miss out on the opportunity to show his love, experience the joy in the classroom, and teach my students.

Today I teach from home in Zoom making a nap possible. 🙂

Thank you for reading. God Bless.
